Florida Gulf Coast University was a small university in southwest Florida, they weren't even an after thought to the basketball community . In 2013 after two convincing wins in unbelievable style, FGCU has not only broke up everyones NCAA bracket that year but they started a craze that has changed the image of Fort Myers forever from a retirement town and vacation getaway to the home of "Dunk City".
